Being a 1910 Villa we weren’t quite ready for a full renovation, just wanted to ensure the house remained as is so doors, windows etc open and close as expected as we are planning to tidy it up a little. • 100% “Near the end of this rather wet 2017 winter, one side of my two-storey wooden home on the North Shore started to show what I thought were signs of more than the usual seasonal movement and I began to imagine that the movement was mainly downwards – sinking! Yikes! I called Shane at Auckland House Leveling for an urgent consultation and, just as promised, he arrived on my site within a couple of hours. After an initial inspection he re-assured me that the foundations and piles were stable and the house was going nowhere and that because of the unusually wet winter, a lot of people were experiencing more dampness and movement of their houses this year. At a second on-site meeting we devised a ‘Just in Case Plan’ to bolster the supports, mould-proof the piles at ground level and remove most of the ground moisture – the work was carried out quickly and efficiently in a few hours over that very same weekend. Shane was very re-assuring about what needed to be done – and what didn’t. Shane is certainly not a cowboy, I’d say he’s the equivalent of the Marshall, the guy who maintains high business integrity that all those tradesmen who never phone back, don’t do what they promise or don’t show up at all need to take note of. An amiable, experienced expert, Shane always appears at the arranged time and does exactly what you ask him to do, on time, on budget with a full tidy up afterwards. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Shane and his boys.”

They were helpful, knowledgeable, experience and have an can do attitude all they way to the finish. I highly recommend Shane to anyone. • 100% “Hire these guys and sort it out! I asked around for ages, trying to figure out what was needed for our ~160 pile bungalow going down all along one side. Recommended by an architect, Shane’s many years of experience brought a simplicity and clarity to the situation. Once I was able to undertake the work, it was amazing. In the first 2-3 hours, they had the house levelled on that worst side and there were very minimal cracks, etc to the house. (Only from things that had been put in after the house had already sunk). Getting everything concreted in took all of about 3 days, with three respectful young guys working hard (while sometimes laughing and singing :)…), under the house as we carried on our work above unimpeded. They did a fantastic job and my windows and doors work smoothly again! Shane and his crew are a pleasure to work with and probably due to their focus in this area of work, I found them to be far less costly than others I’d received estimates from. So hire them to sort it out — they will make you wonder what took you so long!”

In addition, he easily accommodated, on the day, some extra work we needed done with out any fuss. Shane and his co workers were prompt, friendly, accomodating, tidy and took pride in their work. I would recommend them any day without hesitation.”
